Fall Gala, Saturday, October 11th: If you are curious about Soldier Hollow’s Fall Gala, please feel free to look at last year’s program and solicitation record (posted in the office). We are asking all parents to please try and get the same donations that you got last year for this year. Donation letters are available in the office. We would also like to remind those that own their own business & are looking to advertise (tax deductible), that by purchasing a $300 table sponsorship, your company logo will be included on all of our posters, fliers, and Wave ads. Contact Angie for more information.

Rewards Program:

• Collection sheets - located in classrooms or hallway or you may print off one from their website www.boxtops4education.com
• The student who brings in the most items (Box Tops, Campbell’s labels, Tyson Labels, Cream O’Weber caps, Nestle Pure Water labels & Fast Fixin’ Home Team Rewards) in any combination by September 18th will receive a family pass to Hogle Zoo (Thanks Holly T.!)
• The class that brings in the most reward items throughout the school year will win a Root Bear Float Party in May!
• 1st Game of the Year: Fast Fixin’ Home Team Rewards Race: Each time a class brings in 10 Home Team Rewards, their car moves 1 space (track located on bulletin board). The class that finishes first wins a free movie rental from Movie Gallery! The game will end in 6 wks. or until someone wins. Rewards are found on Fast Fixin’ frozen foods (chicken, burgers, meatball, etc.).
• If you shop at Smith’s, Cambell’s has a new promotion that will electronically give SHCS Cambell’s points every time you buy an eligible product using your Fresh Values card. I urge everyone to sign up immediately at www.e-LabelsforEducation.com. It only takes a minute and will only be available for a limited time. FYI- Your children won’t receive credit for these points since I can’t track them, but these points will help us buy some great things for them. You can still send in the labels so that your children get credit for their class. (The school gets double points!). Contact: Jill J.

Bus Service for Soldier Hollow Charter School:

• Bus will pick-up/drop-off students at designated locations throughout Heber, Midway and Charleston.
• Bus Capacity: 25 students
• Bus Type: Ford 350 Diesel with each seat having a seatbelt
• Drivers: Professional school bus/bus drivers with over 12 yrs. exp.
• Cost: One student - $6.50 per day roundtrip, 2nd student (same family) - $6.00, 3rd student (same family) - $5.50, 4th student - $5.00
• Agreement: Parents required to commit for the entire school year. One may offer another parent to take over their contract if they decide to not use the service. Payment monthly or 5% discount if paid by the year. Credit card payment available
