Rewards Program: Thank you so much to all of the families who sent in box tops & supported your children in the contest. The 68 students who participated brought in 1,856 box tops this month – which comes to $185.60)! With the exception of 7th and 8th grade, every class had students who participated. This is a wonderful help to our school. The winners were:
1st Place – Erin Johnson (174 box tops)
2nd Place – Jake Johnson and Cordell Johnson tied (75 box tops each)
3rd Place – Afton Overton (73 box tops)
Spring Cleaning Donations accepted by the Soldier Hollow Student Council. Anything can be donated & will go to Utah MS organizations. All donations should be dropped off in Miss Drozd’s room March 10-19. Thank you.
Summer marketing note for SHCS
The marketing team is looking for parents/guardians who would like to serve on the marketing planning committee throughout the summer & the upcoming school year.
We would like to let everyone know we will be attending the Farmer’s Market every Thursday (3:30 to 9:00pm) through the summer.
We are forming a team to design and assemble a float for our school and would welcome anyone who would like to help. We will also be looking for anyone who has a flat bed trailer we could use the first of August through the first of September, and finally anyone who has space to store the trailer from the weather for that month.
Just as a reminder, all hours served in the summer are doubled. If any of you are interested on getting a head start on your hours for next year, please contact: Megan at [email protected]
