The mission of The River Institute is to design and implement a Provo River Watershed based curriculum for students at Soldier Hollow Charter School that calls students to action in environmental stewardship and community service, while meeting Utah State Core Curriculum Standards.

* A fun atmosphere to celebrate this natural resource that connects our communities!
* Raise awareness of the natural and cultural communities within the watershed!
* Introduce recreational activities available in the watershed!
* Celebrate National Public Lands Day! Free admission into the state park!
* Celebrate National Take a Child Outside Week by getting OUTSIDE!
