Charter School District Science Fair

On Feb. 21, 2008 the winners of the 1st Soldier Hollow Charter School Science Fair traveled to the American Leadership Academy in Spanish Fork, UT to compete at the Charter School District Science Fair. 8th grader, Brandon McLaughlin represented our school with his project Super Beans. 6th grader, Sophie McDonald showed off her research on beef. 6th grader, Megan Mounteer shared what colors fish are attracted to. 5th grader Fischer Heimburger displayed his research on animals sense of smell. After many interviews with judges, the winners were announced……

Congratulations to Fischer Heimburger for placing at the Charter School District level!!!!! He will go on to the Central Utah Science and Engineering Fair (CUSEF) at BYU on March 25, 2008. Congratulations also goes out to 7th grader Aaron Burkemo for advancing on to CUSEF! He will be representing Wasatch School District.   

Soldier Hollow Charter School Science Fair
