The mission of The River Institute is to design and implement a Provo River Watershed based curriculum for students at Soldier Hollow Charter School that calls students to action in environmental stewardship and community service, while meeting Utah State Core Curriculum Standards.

As part of Utah Water Week, the students of the Provo River Institute at Soldier Hollow Charter School are partnering with Utah State Parks to host the Provo River Watershed Festival. Join us for a celebration of this extraordinary natural resource with music, food, informational booths and presentations, and recreational opportunities! Celebrate and learn about the river and its watershed at Rock Cliff Nature Center at Jordanelle State Park. See you out at the river!
